About France: The next presidential elections will take place in April 2017 and no less than 50 candidates so fare, throughout all parties, already declared their candidacy. Whereas 8 candidates in the very same right-wings party Les Républicains will take part in the primary elections scheduled next November; left wings-parties are still discussing if they will organise primary elections. It seems that next presidential elections are not really placed under signs of cohesion and unity.

A writer, essayist, orator, poet and painter, Tahar Ben Jelloun has always multiplied forms of expressio. In 1971, he becomes a freelance contributor for French newspaper Le Monde. He receives the Goncourt literary award in 1987 for La nuit sacrée. He also writes educational books, such as Le racisme expliqué à ma fille (Seuil 1998) or L’Islam expliqué aux enfants (Seuil 2002). His latest work, Le terrorisme expliqué à nos enfants, was released on August 25.
