Promovacances, created in 1992 as a Minitel service form (3615 Promovacances), the Promovacances company launched its on line travel sale website in 1998. Since then, the company has been growth of 100% per annum. Since October 2001, Promovacances belongs to the Karavel Group, chaired by Christian Blanc (ex-President of Air France).
With more than 450.000 visitors per month, the website is credited with a penetration rate of 3,63% among the French Net surfers, which places the website at the third position on the on-line travel sector after the SNCF and the Lastminute/Degriftour group (Nielsen Ratings source - January 2003).
Wellcom proposes:
- To develop Promovacances’ reputation and to position its management expertise on the tourism market.
- To create traffic on the Karavel and Promovacances websites.

- An editorial monitoring is monthly carried out in order to anticipate the subjects to be published and always transmit information in adequacy with the journalists expectations.
