In a nutshell
Dear partner and friend,
No one can get the “After Charlie” out of mind, following the terrible events that hit France, Belgium and Denmark. How difficult it is to move on after these tragedies. Everything or pretty much everything was said regarding these events. Some foolish words but mostly remarkable texts and thoughts for their truthfulness, kindness and humaneness. Who would have believed that French could stand right away all together? We are proud to see that there are still values we are able to stand up for! Strong values, those we are willing to stand up for! At the top of these values ranks FREEDOM, and right after, free speech.
Another conclusion following the Charlie events, is the rapidity with which the world rallied around the logo.
This logo shows how powerful a clear and catchy slogan can be. Je suis Charlie has generated such a huge word of mouth, whereas it has been created by a French art director, unknown till then!
That being said, because relationships with its worldwide partners are crucial to Wellcom, please enjoy some “Freedom news” that the agency is happy to share!

Our chairman Thierry Wellhoff was part of the 14th Global Cristal Festival’s jury, that took place in Courchevel on December 2014.
Since its creation in 2001, the Cristal Festival gathers the professionnals of the advertising and creation world : the main agencies, advertisers, producers, directors… Historically dedicated to TV advertising, the festival has been gradually opened to other media, including PR.
At a time disciplines are converging under the influence of the digital transformation, the PR jury worked hard to demonstrate that PR, taken in a very broad sense, has a great role to play in the integrated mix of communication and marketing.
The Cristal awards reward the year’s best creations. The agency is really proud to have been part of this distinguished jury.
